The ninth season of the educational programme ‘Healthy Perspectives’ is returning to ABS television.
February 2016 was dubbed ‘Heart Health Month, and to kick-start the new season, conversations were centered on cardiovascular disease. Host Vernon Solomon, along side various medical specialists, explored how factors such as stress, your work environment, and even your personality type contributes to the development of disease.
In upcoming months, topical issues such as mental health, childhood obesity, and the importance of physical activity and nutrition, will also be discussed on the programme.
“We have grown up quiet a bit over the last few seasons. An important part of maturing is listening, and we have been listening to our viewers. As a consequence, in this new season, we will be exploring fresh new topics. We are involving more members of the Antigua & Barbuda community, as well as introducing viewers to more members of the AUA family. By doing so, we hope that our viewers perspective will always be a healthy one,” says Solomon.
